My husband was diagnosed with having a stroke. He couldn't move the right side of his body. We were transferred from Neuro to 7 East. Here walks in this cheerful nurse. Tyronza Griffin walks in and introduces herself. She always kept a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Every day, she would say, “All right, today is going to be great, and we are thinking positively. You will be back moving the right side of your body soon. Remember, life and death lie in the power of the tongue”. My husband just smiled and said I like her. She is not going to let me quit. She is a great asset to Southeast Health. We could tell she really loves her job and has a heart of compassion. We need more nurses like her.

She was very attentive to my needs. She assured me that everything was going to be okay. She made sure to explain all my medications and scans to me. She always had a smile on her face. She even prayed for me!
