This is what I know about Ukeme; she takes caregiving to a whole new level. She stepped right up to the plate and knocked a home-run for “Team UNC Rex”. Her personality was so professional, she is a great team player and she allowed me to know anything I needed to know about my condition or stay here. She did more than I could ask for. She listened to my situation and circumstances and concerns. This nurse is remarkable and I am so proud that she is a part of my care team! She talked about my meds, my pain levels, and my needs in a timely manner. Nurse Ukeme has a way to make patients feel special. She gave me 5-star treatment and she was truly a wonderful caregiver. As I write this nomination, my heart and soul are smiling because I have had nothing less than the “BEST” from the service that she has provided me. I don’t know how other people or patients feel, but I know she deserves a pat on the back! One word to describe the service and care I have received from Nurse Ukeme is “WOW”.
