Unj is a manager on the General Medical Oncology floor, and she is always seen helping out on the unit--whether it's answering call lights and phone calls, passing meds, checking on a beeping IV pump, breaking RNs for lunch, coming in to help out on her day off due to unit being very short-staffed, to jumping in on RRTs and code blue. She is doing all of this on top of her managerial duties. She is always so positive, energetic, and full of smiles. I could be having a rough day and seeing her turns my day around. Thank you Unj for being so selfless and understanding.

Unj is hands down the best manager I have ever had. She is reasonable, fair, intelligent, and shows compassion for both her staff and the patients. There have been times on the floor when the nurses and aides were busy and Unj immediately jumps in to meet the patients' needs. I have never had a manager who didn’t put him/herself above doing patient care. Unj has managed to stay in touch with that part of her nursing path. She has always made herself available to all of her nurses even when she is vacationing and should be ignoring us all! She is exceptional at her job and does it with deep integrity.
