I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional work and dedication of nurse Unish, whose commitment to patient care truly embodies the spirit of UW Hospital. Recently, I had the pleasure of witnessing nurse Unish in action during a particularly demanding shift. Her ability to connect with me, providing medical care as well as emotional support is a testament to her remarkable skills, kindness, and genuine passion! It’s clear that she creates a nurturing environment that significantly enhances the healing process.

This I know first-hand, she motivated me through severe pain. She reminded me to eat and to get up and become ambulatory even when I didn’t want to! She has not only provided exceptional care but, has also become a beacon of hope that will leave a lasting impact on my life through her positivity, kindness, and understanding. She delivered these things with such a wonderful sense of humor and high level of compassion and undying energy to really care about patients. Thank you for Nurse Unish!
