The nominator wants to especially thank Nikki Grillo, RN; all the nurse assistants; Sandy Abundis, nurse manager; and Wendy Hamilton, assistant clinical manager. Also included are Donna Kennedy-Williams, NP, Palliative Care, and Virginia Damico, RN, Hospice.
"During my mom's stroke, the stress I had was erased by the utter total top quality of care above and beyond of all her angels as she journeys to hospice. Nikki was the best RN we ever had anywhere - solid, reliable, kind, responsive. Her nurse assistants and all nurse assistants plus Donna from Palliative Care and Virginia from Hospice all made my tears better and gave me 110% confidence to hold myself steady as my own losses are overwhelming. I cannot thank you all enough. You all are angels. God bless you."
