Unity Hospital Cardiology Team

The Unity Hospital Cardiology Team has received over 60 DAISY nominations from the patients and families of those they serve. Considering the small amount of time spent with their patients during testing, the nursing staff in Cardiology make an enormously positive impact in the skillful, compassionate care they provide. Most commonly, patients and families comment about the kind, informative care; frequent checks on patients during testing; going above and beyond by offering a warm blanket or a more comfortable chair or bed; easing fears through education and emotional support. Most importantly, the patients felt how much they care.
