Val Lonshakov, RN

My brother is a patient here right now and has been for 1 month. He is special needs and has been being treated for COVID and pneumonia. Val has been his nurse several times so far, and my brother just absolutely adores him. When Val is not working, my brother signs his name and asks for him. Val is thorough and quick to provide exceptional care. He is very gentle and kind with D, and patient too, making sure he explains to him what he is doing in ways he can understand which is VERY important when dealing with a person with developmental disabilities. He is sure to maintain D’s dignity and shows great compassion to both my brother and me. He is a great nurse, and surely represents your ideal of “humankindness”
