...Val not only performed his duties but took the time to make me smile. He was on call the day I was suppose to have my bronchoscopy done and he came in and was assigned to me. I have never had any procedures done and was having panic attacks. He took the time to talk to me, hold my hand and gave me a hug. Those simple gestures were able to put me at ease. When it was all over again he took some time to sit with me and make me smile. He was not only a nurse for me; he is a caring friend who was there for me when I had no one else. I will forever be grateful and remember my friend.
