Valencia Chaffold, BSN, RN
I am writing to you because the 8EE Neuro team wants to ensure our Case Manager, Valencia Chaffold, receives the highest level of recognition for her incredible dedication to our unit. She consistently goes above and beyond, and we wanted to make sure their hard work doesn't go unnoticed.
She worked diligently to advocate for several long-term patients and their families, even coordinating complex international medical transfers to Korea and Honduras. What stands out most is her personal investment; she came in at 5:30 AM on a Saturday just to see a patient off and ensure the family felt supported during the transition. The fact that she still keeps in touch with these families to check on the patients' progress and ensure every patient is given such great care really shows the kind of people they are.
The entire 8EE staff wanted to make sure she receives proper recognition, as her selflessness and advocacy deserve much more than just points. She is the heart of our coordination efforts, and we wanted to make sure she knew the full extent of her impact!
