I would like to bring to your attention the support and help we received from Valentina our nurse during our stay at Winthrop. We arrived home last week after a 3-day stay at NYU Winthrop. It was a difficult delivery and recovery. The most important part of our stay was the help we received from Valentina. She was caring, responsible, patient, knowledgeable, and available at any time we needed help. There was lots of blood loss during my delivery and the recovery was extremely challenging. It was so important to have a skilled and compassionate nurse available to us for our needs and we were thankful for Valentina's help. Valentina was a highlight and should be commended for her hard work, skill, and her patience. Please acknowledge her high levels of professionalism and ability and reward them accordingly. In a period of time where efficiency and work ethic seem to have diminished. These nurses each went above and beyond what I think is expected of them.
