When I was struggling with allergies and nasal congestion, it was suggested to me to take saline nasal rinses. To a 14-year-old girl, spraying a bottle full of fluid into my nose was a terrifying thought. Valerie talked me through it and made it a very easy process. She also has allowed me to, in my old age of 14, play games on the spirometry machine. She playfully calls me "turkey". What an amazing nurse!
