I CARE can be regarded as merely an acronym listed on a survey such as this or the principles whereby an individual such as Valerie brings to the job and puts into practice nearly every day to genuinely enrich the Veteran's experience during an otherwise difficult time in their lives.
Valerie represents all that "I CARE" provides, but RESPECT is the category that she continuously demonstrates a higher commitment to when interacting with the patient. With a calm and assured demeanor, she has repeatedly proven that attentiveness, in combination with respect, can provide positive results in all patients.
