Valerie was AMAZING! I was having a bit of a hard time after surgery and felt very low, as well as not really being able to express how I was feeling. Valerie was so very supportive and kind to me when I really needed it. She gave me alternatives to try for pain control, she was upbeat and supportive each time she came into my room. Valerie listened to me! She did not rush me and treated me with respect. I was having a bad headache and nothing was helping, she told me “let’s try a cold pack,” and it worked like a charm! Something so simple, but greatly needed. The most extraordinary thing about Valerie is that she made me feel like I was her only patient and nothing I asked was foolish. Her kindness, respect, and drive to care for others are EXTRAordinary, she is truly a gem!
