Val Hart is the epitome of nursing inspiration. In her 35+ years of nursing experience, she has nobly dedicated her life to the service of others. Most recently she demonstrated leadership during the COVID-19 dedicated unit, Val selflessly came forward. The culmination of years of experience, level-headedness, and devotion to caring for others made Val a beacon for other nurses and a trailblazer. Because of her calm and caring attitude in the face of adversity, she showed other nurses and staff members to put their own fear aside and participate wholeheartedly as we waged war on the flow of unfortunate cases. Her dedication and compassion are unwavering as we continue to care for and nurse the COVID population of our community hospital.
