I had a bad fall which resulted in hospitalization. After one week on the third floor, I was transferred to the 4th floor for therapy. That is when and where I met Valerie.

Valerie is one in a million...

Each night that she was my nurse she was invaluable. Her kindness, compassion, expertise, and humor were abundantly evident. At a time when I was in pain and my most vulnerable, not only did she help me, she did so that I still maintained my self-respect and dignity-that is a pretty big feat when she had to help me wipe my own bottom! Who among us wants to do that? Valerie did it with that it's part of the job attitude and somehow made me still feel comfortable after. What a nurse!

You are so lucky to have Valerie in your employ! Each night, patients are greeted with a warm, sincere smile that automatically makes you feel, as a patient in pain, that you are safe and everything will be alright.

My fall really threw me for a loop, and I needed help with getting out of bed, walking, etcetera. Valerie made my journey that much more bearable with her support, care, professionalism, and kind spirit.
