Valerie is a phenomenal RN who exemplifies the nursing ideals consistent with our mission at The Miriam Hospital and our Magnet hospital status. Valerie and I shared a patient who was anxious and afraid. Valerie stayed at his bedside, reassured him and his wife, and provided a calm, warm environment for his care. He chose to remain here to continue his care.
