We started out in ICU before being moved to the 7th floor. Out of all the nurses we dealt with, Val was the one that stood out.
She was so compassionate toward M who is 94 with Alzheimers. She kept us all informed of M's progress, her treatment and was so creative in finding ways to help us overcome the tough issues that come up with providing care to an Alzheimers patient. I learned some things from Val that will help me care for M at home. Val and her staff not only took excellent care of M but the family members and me as well. I believe we received the absolute best level of care possible. I'll never forget the name Val and will always think of her as a stellar example of who nurses are! Her compassion, professionalism and thoughtfulness gave us a great sense of peace through our entire stay here. She has a very confident sense about her that just makes you feel like everything will turn out fine. We love you nurse Val!
