I had a major bleeding problem in the catheter insertion area. Valerie went above and beyond the call of duty throughout the entire night handling the situation. She combines an exceptional personality with high quality nursing skills to provide the patient with a calming influence no matter how stressful the situation. It was a very difficult and uncomfortable night because of the requirement of keeping my right leg perfectly straight, left arm straight and head down. With a less dedicated and empathetic nurse this would have been close to intolerable. I have trouble with lower back pain and had no recourse to reduce it with the above restrictions. Valerie kept me laughing and upbeat the entire time and an "endless" night passed by somewhat quickly. Valerie is an exceptional nurse and employee for you.
