Valerie addressed my concerns with a combination of kindness and honesty, explaining the medication plan for the day.
My nurse, Valerie, was exceptionally kind and compassionate throughout her entire shift. I had a challenging night as I was adjusting to new medications and experiencing significant pain. Valerie entered my room with a warm smile and a gentle demeanor. She immediately recognized the severity of my pain and made me feel genuinely supported and heard.

Valerie addressed my concerns with a combination of kindness and honesty, explaining the medication plan for the day. This was the first time in days that I felt truly listened to and cared for. She never made me feel dismissed, even if I requested something ahead of schedule. She always took the time to explain what was happening, eliminating any uncertainty.

Valerie consistently greeted me with a welcoming smile, which helped me feel more at ease during a challenging period. I consider her an invaluable asset to her field and feel fortunate to have had her as my nurse. Her infectious positivity and warm demeanor put people at ease.

During her care, I felt relaxed, safe, and genuinely cared for. Valerie went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being. She answered my questions to the best of her ability and promptly sought out information when she didn’t have an answer.

In my view, Valerie embodies the concept of going above and beyond for her patients as part of her daily routine. I appreciate her from the bottom of my heart. The healthcare profession needs more nurses like her. Being a patient in the hospital can be incredibly stressful and frightening, and Valerie’s kindness and empathy are truly a gift that eases that burden.
