My husband got admitted and I went home to grab some things. When I got to my husband's room, about 20 minutes later, Valerie had come into my husband's room, introduced herself, and saw that I had a medical binder put together for my husband. She didn't make me feel like she was judging me on how I write everything down and try to keep everything organized. She then explained everything that was going on with my husband and let me write notes. I didn't feel rushed on talking to her, asking questions, and writing things down. On one occasion she peeked in on my husband and saw he was finally resting and looked at me and smiled. This is so nerve-racking and Valerie really made my husband comfortable and made me also feel comfortable. I can tell Valerie has a genuine heart for her patients. Nurses like Valerie make people like my husband and I actually matter and says a whole lot about how she takes care of her patients. Very professional with an amazing heart. I just really want to thank her for taking care of my husband and making me feel okay, even though inside I am not until I can bring him home.
