I am grateful for all the wonderful nurses who have cared for me. However, Valrie is a standout. Compassionate, knows what needs to be done, and will do it efficiently. When I happen to be awake at night, I might see her peek in my room to check on me. If I can’t sleep, Valrie tries not to wake me when she needs to change my IVs or draw blood. I only know she is there when she checks my I.D. When I see she is my nurse, I can relax. I know meds and bloodwork will be on time. The IVs will be ordered ahead, so they can be hung when needed, with no waiting for pharmacy. She is serious about nursing, well-trained, friendly, and cared about my well-being. You must watch her work. She is amazing! I would write more but no space!
