The entire VRC team is a resilient group of skilled professionals providing the highest level of nursing excellence and outstanding patient care to a medically complex patient population in a challenging environment with limited preparation to adjust to the change in culture and environment. Many of the staff willingly picked up numerous shifts to ensure that their colleagues had the appropriate help to provide care to a unit that doubled in size during the Covid pandemic.
