Vaneisha S. Douglas, RN
Vaneisha has made an impact during my husband’s stay here at Memorial Satilla. Upon my arrival, my husband made several comments that speak for themselves; such as, “That’s a good nurse”, “You can tell she loves her job.” As days passed, I could see that her zeal and drive were evident, she always greeted us with a smile and made sure to say good morning and goodbye with a good spirit about her.
The day we found out my husband was being transferred, we were sad to say goodbye at the end of her shift. She was diligent to answer all my questions, filling me in on doctor’s notes, and explaining the plan of care. She was a bright light in a dim time for my husband. She is the type of nurse that makes someone say, “If I had to come back to the hospital, I’d want HER to be my nurse!” A gentle spirit, sense of humor, and go-getter attitude make her a fantastic nurse. Thank you Vaneisha, for the impact you’ve made!
