My dad has an extensive history and requires frequent redirection and care with all of his ADLs. He came to the ED with trouble breathing and low potassium. Once he was stabilized, Vanessa could have easily made her checks on Dad less frequent, but she did the exact opposite. She kept checking in to make sure his other health problems were stable.

As an APRN, I see when nurses are clinically sound or not (and Vanessa knows her stuff) but as a daughter, I see how a nurse treats a patient and here is where she also shines! She has incredible attention to detail and advocated for my dad. She was caring, thoughtful, attentive and kind. I was breathing easier knowing she was watching over my dad. Thank you, Vanessa, you are awesome!
