I am a cancer patient and been getting treatments at St. Luke's Global. This has been my 18th admission. I insist on being admitted at the South Wing. However, during the admission, I met Vanessa, who welcomed me with a sincere smile and reassurance. She said that she understood and respected my decision to move to the South Wing once a room is available. In spite of my moodiness, Vanessa kept her composure and held my hand when my chemo started. She was very friendly and supportive. Because of her, I decided to remain at the North Wing even if I was informed of a vacancy at the South Wing. Vanessa possesses the qualities of an effective and efficient nurse. She is very empathetic and compassionate.
