Vanessa Garcia

Vanessa is levelheaded and brings calm to her patients and anyone she interacts with. I witnessed this firsthand during the first semester. There were unprecedented challenges presented, and a classmate was very distressed. Vanessa reasoned calmly with the student. The more escalated her peer became, the more Vanessa reassured and empathized with her. Vanessa exhibited maturity, self-control, and composure that many people would not have during such a situation. Furthermore, Vanessa embodies professionalism and compassion. She is intentional, kind, and understanding. Vanessa will be an excellent nurse!
