After a routine lap choly, I found myself as an inpatient on 3NE. As an employee, to say I was nervous was an understatement. Pain medication has always made me sick. Due to the pain, I received IV Dilaudid in the ED. Upon arrival, I felt ok but a few hours later became shaky, dizzy, nauseous, and disorientated. I pressed my call light and told the Secretary. The PCT and Vanessa Gibbs, RN jumped into action. From fluids to sprites, crackers, and wet rags, they were an exceptional team. I would start to get scared or feel sick and look up and they were peeking in laying eyes on me. I never felt alone, they were always there when I needed them. They are both compassionate, prompt, and knowledgeable. I am proud to work with such great staff members. Thank you!
