Vanessa Howard, MSN, FNP-BC

Professor Vanessa Howard wants all students to succeed by knowing the material she teaches. She is an outstanding teacher because she gives rationales while teaching to ensure we understand the material and always encourages us to think critically. She shares stories that pertain to the content she is teaching. I admire her and look up to her as a person, nurse, and educator; I hope that I can one day follow in her footsteps. She is a fantastic role model, and I aspire to be like her. Professor Howard has gone out of her way on multiple occasions to guide me not only in school but in my future nursing career. She has motivated me and pushed me to excel as a student. You can tell she wants her students to succeed and will offer help in any way she can!
