Vanessa Minor, RN

Vanessa comes to work every day with a calm and caring demeanor. She is empathetic to every patient and works to meet them where they are. If a patient is having difficulty remembering the unit routine, she provides them with gentle redirection and reassurance.

She provides clear communication to patient families to ensure they are comfortable as they navigate the mental health system, often for the first time. I always say that I measure an exemplary nurse by whether I would want them to take care of my family or me.

There is no one at COBH that I would trust more with my family than Vanessa. She always has a smile and a warm greeting for visitors, patients, and staff.
