Vanessa is a compassionate and highly intelligent nurse and encourager. During a pre and postoperative period after my husband fractured his odontoid process of his cervical vertebrae, she showed exceptional knowledge of body mechanics required to move him with his cervical collar and she was always positive and smiling for days of complex care. She understood all the monitoring and medications and used her skills to encourage our whole family.
