I did not know Vanessa until my mother entered Ellen Sagar as a patient two years ago. Vanessa has gone the extra mile to make my mother feel comfortable. Mother will only take certain medicines from some nurses, but Vanessa can walk into the room and tell Mother she needs this or that and Mother will do it. Vanessa treats patients like her babies. She is kind hearted and loving to all of them. You can see in her work that she truly loves each one. Vanessa takes time with each person and listens to each one. She never loses control while trying to help each person. If she is busy, she at least tells them she'll get with them when she completes her task. She shows love and concern for each person. All patients want Vanessa to help them with whatever they are doing. These patients or elderly people need love like Vanessa shows. She is also a very friendly person to the people that come to visit. To me, Vanessa is a godsendto the nursing center. I have heard people talk about how she stays on the go, working to please each person, not just one.
