She made me feel comfortable and safe even though I was only there for one night.
Vanessa was very lighthearted, funny, and personable during my husband's hospitalization. She was courteous and had a great bedside manner. She addressed my husband's pain in a timely fashion and would follow up with the doctors if we had questions or if something was not done. She always checked in on him and made sure he was comfortable. She kept us well-informed and talked to us like we were humans. Thank you for your excellent nursing care, Vanessa.

Vanessa was outstanding when it came to my care. Not only with me but as I walked laps after my surgery, Vanessa was constantly advocating for her patients. She was nonstop on the phone fighting for meds and her patients' needs. I truly appreciated being in her care. I couldn’t ask for better care. The whole staff on 3W was wonderful. Best in the hospital hands down!

I was admitted to the hospital for diverticulitis. I had many nurses throughout my entire stay. The nursing staff was very good to me. But I would like to acknowledge Vanessa whom I found went above expectations. She was simply amazing. Always making sure I was OK and was there for me for every need, even when they were busy. Her concern for patients or even just making sure the patients were comfortable was above and beyond. Vanessa is an excellent nurse and you can see how much she enjoys her job. I have witnessed during my stay here different nurses with different patients but no one is like her. She deserves recognition for her excellent job as a nurse!

Going for surgery can be stressful, especially during COVID. When I heard that I had to have surgery and stay overnight, needless to say, I was anxious. When I got to my room after surgery, I was greeted by an exceptional Nurse named Vanessa. She made me feel comfortable and safe even though I was only there for one night. She quickly got me settled and explained everything to me. Throughout my stay, she answered all of my questions and I had many, very thoroughly, very patiently. When it was time to leave, she went through all of the directions, answered all of my questions, and gave me some very helpful suggestions about my meds and care. Vanessa is a very special person and a kind, empathetic Nurse. She should be rewarded for giving such good care to her patients.
