If you know someone who has an anxiety disorder, you will understand how grateful I amforan understanding and compassionate nurse. My daughter was admitted to 5East and an anxiety attack overwhelmed her during her stay. Velma was there to comfort, listen, and "be there." Velma took the time to be certain that my daughter was okay before leaving the room each time she checked on her. I know she is not easy to take care of when her anxiety flares. Velma was always respectful. We both appreciated that.
