I recognize Vendula for being such an excellent nurse, for showing us how much she cares, for taking time to go to the 5th floor, and for taking E outside. Buying him ice cream, taking him around the unit and, cleaning his wounds even though he was not her patient. She did many advocacies on his behalf when he was in TICU, like letting the doctors know he needed to be seen by GI for his bleeding. She always shows how much knowledge she has by letting the doctors know her professional opinion. She showed me how compassionate she is always letting me know things are going to be alright. Never saying negative words. She was so good with my son E even being friends with him. I'll never forget Vendula for being the best nurse. She always made sure E was comfortable and in no pain. She also had his medication on time. She was always showing him how much she cared. Thank you so much, Vendula.
