Venus was an awesome nurse my entire stay. As a nurse myself, sometimes work can become very routine and, before you know it, every patient can feel like the last. With Venus, she tailored my experience to what “I” was going through. She educated me on every medication and symptom that I was experiencing. She prepared me well for my discharge, so it won’t be difficult to adjust. What stood out about her was her compassion. She holds my hand and prays every time she starts her shift. I am very active in my church and every time I pray with Venus, it is a tremendous deal to me. She always listens to my concerns and doesn’t brush me off. She exemplifies the nurse that I always strive to be.
