After I had my baby I was in the hospital for 3 days due to a C-section and I had the pleasure of having Verna Zitek as my nurse during the day. I had some complications, and I also had my tubes tied so it was a rough hospital stay. She was so sweet and made me feel so taken care of without any questions, hesitations, or anything. She went above and beyond for my baby and me. She knew what I needed, I didn’t need to ask, and she knew that I was apprehensive about asking for help. I hate being needy, and she just made me feel so comfortable and welcoming about asking for anything. I think Verna was just amazing. She was professional, honest, caring and encouraging throughout my stay. I would recommend Sacred Heart to anyone having a baby. The care is just amazing.
