Veronica Leddy, RN

Veronica and I had a very tearful procedure with a young patient. Veronica was calming and reassured the crying patient that she would be all right. I have not seen compassionate nursing like that in a long time. COVID has worn us out. It is so refreshing to see nursing at its very best and what nursing is all about. Thank you, Veronica, for reminding us to stop and talk to our patients and treat them how we want to be treated.
