This was the first time I was catching a glimpse of my husband since he went for open heart surgery. I was peeking into his room. There I see 2 nurses, talking to each other and busily working. They smile, one laughed, while they were carefully moving tubes and pressing buttons to care for my husband. This brought me comfort. I was elated to know the surgery was completed and to see them smiling as they worked was simply the best. It was exactly what I needed, but I didn't expect it. It assured me everything was going to be ok.

Nurse Veronica continued to give confidence to us and our family. She was so knowledgeable, educated and kept us informed. Just being around her makes me feel peace and joy. I knew that we are in the best hands. Veronica gave off this spirit that makes you just want to be near her. She is so incredibly experienced and yet down to earth. She is positive, yet real and honest. She is joyful even when she has to be exhausted. She works, teaches, consults, laughs, visits. She learned our 5 children's names after we spoke of them the first day. How??? She shared with us that she loves what she does and wouldn't do anything differently. Veronica is so unique, so special. We are grateful for her and that she is at Centegra.
