On top of her being so generous with her time, Veronica today requested to be with a patient who was being induced following a long admission on our antepartum unit. The patient had been admitted for a heroin overdose and has been receiving IV antibiotics for many weeks due to infections and other health issues. Today Veronica came in with baby outfits for her to dress her baby in and a sparkly bag (because the patient loves sparkles) that says "Today is your day!" She is such an amazing nurse and an amazing person and we are so lucky to work with her.
