After my son John David received a kidney from his mother, Veronica was our day nurse who took absolutely the best care of us that we have ever had at this hospital. There have been many good experiences with nurses at Children's but none have compelled me to make it known. Veronica's forward-thinking of my son's care has put both myself and my wife, who is a physician, at ease. She is extremely educated in her profession and outstanding with her attention to detail. She made it feel as though we were part of one team making important decisions on our son. Veronica was very transparent, informative, and eager to problem solve any issue that would come about. I mostly commend her on the ability to be extremely proactive in my son's care which further avoided complications and enhanced our experience with her as a very pleasurable and confident medical professional. A true example of what an RN is. Thank you!
