Veronica Theriot was recognized for her countless acts of kindness and compassion. Recently the daughter of a patient on the Medical Surgical Unit (5A) had her birthday while her mother (the patient) was hospitalized. Veronica purchased several presents to make a gift basket and a birthday card signed by the staff for the patient's daughter. The nurses then presented the gift and sang "Happy Birthday" to the little girl. Everyone was so touched by this act of kindness, there was not a dry eye in the room. Thank you, Veronica, for making this little girl's birthday so special, while her mother was in our hospital. We truly appreciate all you do for our patients and families.
