She went above and beyond her duties. She was very compassionate and caring to my family member in the hospital, my daughter, and myself. I was so blessed the day I had to step away and her patients slacked up so she could spend time doing things for him. That meant a lot to me.

I have never experienced the care, concern, and compassion from someone as much as Vickey. My ex-husband came to Novant with an illness, or several, that ended up putting us in hospice. Even though he was so sick he couldn't speak, Vickey would always announce herself and kindly tell him what she was going to do. She talked and joked with him and above all, she cared for him. I am so blessed to have met her.
