If I ever need to be a patient at Piedmont, I want Vicki to be my nurse! She is the gold standard for any hospital. She makes her difficult and non-stop job look effortless even though she has hundreds of things to do. She made my mother-in-law feel valued and tried her best to take care of any problem that occurred immediately. She would acknowledge the problem, tell us who she would reach out to resolve the issue (doctor, therapy, treatments etc.). We knew that she would actually follow up. Most impressive for me was to watch her deliver medications. She named the medication and told the patient why she needed to take it. Any new medication was described in detail. She promptly answered all of our questions. Vicki was so knowledgeable and kind. Vicki never seemed bothered by anything. My mother-in-law was not always nice and yet Vicki was most gracious and compassionate. She is the best of all.
