Vicki Hopper, RN

It is difficult to describe a specific situation about Vicki because she provides the same experience to every patient and family member she interacts with - that is why she is unique and in her own league. Vicki has the ability to make immediate connections and ensure the entire interaction is at an exceptional level. Not only is she gentle and kind, she can get to know a patient and their family in a matter of minutes while she is caring teaching and getting them ready for discharge. Vicki can make a patient feel like they are her only responsibility and treats them with respect and dignity.

She receives consistent recognition from her patients via patient satisfaction surveys and post-op phone calls. Leadership depends on her for service recovery for those patients who may have had an earlier negative experience. Vicki provides very detailed discharge instructions, so patients go home feeling very competent with their home care.
