June 2026 Honoree
Vicki Kerr, RN
I was admitted with central line sepsis. When I went to Interventional Radiology for catheter replacement, they pulled the line, and I began having rigors and pain. They sent me back to the floor, and Vicki recognized I was in septic shock with 106.4 temperature. She immediately gave me my antibiotics, packed me in ice, gave me pain meds, and pushed my stretcher, rushing me to the ER! She saved my life.
Thank you, Vicki, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
