The Banner Clinical executives and Cerner Alignment team would like to recognize Vicki Snavely. She went way above and beyond to help them share their clinical excellence stories to win a HIMSS Davies Award. Vicki brought her previous knowledge and relationships with HIMSS to help Banner build three case studies, submit them within a months' time and proceed to presentations. Vicki consistently went above and beyond the call of duty by working exceedingly long hours and weekends to help them as well as care for her special needs grandchild, be onsite in Phoenix while her family was in a hurricane and expecting a grandchild. Vicki never once brought her personal concerns to the table even though her Cerner peers knew of all of these stressors. She really is an amazing woman, role model, and her caring nature that extends from her nursing persona. The Banner CMIO, CNIO, Medical Directors and VP's have all shared their reasons for electing Vicki as nurse extraordinaire!

Wow! Vicki was just amazing - without her help, nudging, doing we would never have submitted or been ready for the Davies Award. As an example, for the telehealth timeline, I had tasked it off to someone else to do, but that person was on PTO (oops) and so the day of the dry run Vicki came in with a timeline - no one asked her to do this, she just saw it wasn't done and took it upon herself to prepare a draft. That's initiative! She's always professional, efficient and effective. Thanks for sharing her with us!

As a Cerner customer, Vicki is an amazing advocate to showcase what we do here at Banner every day. She came here to guide us on the Davies award and went above and beyond. She not only took on the role of reviewing all the many stories we could tell at Banner, but she also did this on the weekends and nights to accommodate our clinicians' schedules.
Vicki truly is an asset to Cerner and we have a Davies award now thanks to her hard work and dedication.
