My health situation is complex and I'm followed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). While in the hospital, we were struggling to find the right solution for treatment and were given specific care instructions from the NIH. They said it was paramount that it happened immediately. We prayed for a good nurse on the next shift to help us take action. Then came Vicki Solomon. She was an incredible advocate for us in getting quick action with the doctors. She understood our situation, went to battle on our behalf and because of her, I got the medications I needed. She fought for and with us all day to get various medications and needs approved by the doctors and to me quickly. All the while, staying on top of checking vitals, answering our questions and caring for other patients. We are eternally thankful to her and know it couldn't have happened without her. She was an answer to our prayers. Thank you, Vicki!
