Vickie was very kind to me. I was given a bus ticket to get home and Vickie drove to the hospital on her day off and took me to the bus stop so I did not have to walk. I could not believe someone would do this for me. Plus, it was on Christmas Day and she doesn't live close to the hospital, either. Vickie really cares about people.
I hated to ask but knew I had a long walk after the bus ride so I asked her for a dollar. Vickie gave me twenty dollars. Again, I could not believe it. She also gave me a hug and wished me good luck. It will be a Christmas I never forget. I was able to get a cab and not have to walk five miles further that afternoon because of her kindness. I will never forget Vickie or how she treated me. Vickie went above and beyond!
