Vickie Fontenot, BSN, RN

Mrs. Vickie exemplifies what it means to be a team player and is a vital aspect of our trauma/general surgery team. She always goes out of her way to put patients first, taking care of their entire needs, from head to toe. She is a great resource to our hospital, to our patients, and to our entire nursing staff for wound care and prevention.

Not only that, she goes above and beyond her job description. Just recently we had a trauma patient in great need of hygiene care. Mrs.Vickie was quick to jump on the job, making the patient feel comfortable during a vulnerable situation. She is the calming voice during chaotic times and often is the motivation our patients need to participate in their care.

Her bright smile and positive attitude truly portray the standards we all strive to achieve and we are lucky to have her on our team! We could not think of anyone more deserving of recognition!
