Vickie Sliter, RN

Vickie works in the pre-op area where many patients come in scared of a procedure and potential bad news. She has the calming personality to help patients relax and insert a little humor. We frequently see comments from patients who mention her by name when they answer their survey. Vickie is a patient advocate; she holds her colleagues accountable, is respected by her peers, and is able to see both the caring and business sides of healthcare. Shelbyville Hospital is blessed to have her on our Surgical Services team. We are pleased to bestow the honor of being a DAISY Nurse on Vickie.
